We had to remove the crib bumper and lower the mattress because Amy is
getter more mobile. She likes to hang her feet off of the bed just like I do.

This last picture is Amy practicing for her birthday party which is this weekend.

Mike’s sister Karen and her sons Alex and Santiago are in town visiting from Puebla, Mexico for a few weeks. We are so happy they are here, even though her husband couldn’t make it.

We went to the Yellow River Game Ranch with Mike’s parents and our friend Terri Lynne and her kids today. We all had an amazing time. We hand fed squirrels, deer, pigs, donkeys, boroughs, peacocks, goats, foxes and even black bears. Most were behind fences and some were in large cages, but a lot of the animals were loose amongst the people.

Amy touching a pot bellied pig's nose.

We gave Amy a carrot to feed the donkeys, but she has
"only child syndrome" and kept it for herself instead of sharing.
She chewed/teethed on it for a while.

Here we are feeding a deer some peanuts.

Mike's post:
Just in case anyone was wondering, we still have dogs. I went out to the backyard to bring the dogs inside, and Gretchen was looking at the slide like a light bulb had just gone off. It only took one treat to convince her that the light bulb going off was a good thing.

If Amy starts crawling from a lying position, she crawls normally. If she starts from a sitting position, she moves one leg back and scoots around like this. She's still pretty quick either way...

A few pics from Amy's 1st Halloween...

She really likes spoons right now. She chews on them, but isn't interested in teething rings. I saw 2 new teeth trying to break through her gums (on the top) this afternoon. She already has 3...

We went to Burt's Pumpkin Patch in North Georgia with some friends today..

Amy and I both sported our pink Chucks.

We love the Gilbert's!

This is Amy's first time standing up without help. Well...I guess the huge pumpkins are helping her a little...

We forgot her stroller, but it didn't matter. The wheelbarrow was more fun!

My mom and dad, Anna and her family, and me and Amy met in Chattanooga on Saturday for a picnic and day at the park. Amy and Landon enjoyed the blanket on the grass. They both crawled around on it finding every last blade of grass and leaf that was on the blanket. We all enjoyed the carousel, too. We missed Daddy because he was in Colorado on business, having some fun on the other side of the country.

I dressed Amy in a long sleeve onesie for the first time since March yesterday morning. She seemed confused by it. She was trying to shake the sleeves off, and the she tried to pull them off as if they weren't supposed to be there. The sleeves this morning weren't quite as dramatic for her, but she did pay extra attention to the little ruffles on her wrists.
