A BIG day at the park!!!

Here is Amy with her Mom Mom Rice and Amy's sister Leia. We met them at a park in Tarpon Springs, Florida yesterday. We played on the playground, walked by the lake and had a nice picnic. It was so fun and interesting learning about Leia and what she and Amy have in common...besides their beautiful eyes. Leia is such a sweet and smart girl, and she played so well with Amy.

Leia brought some bubbles and showed Amy how to use the bubble wand.

Amy and Leia have such a unique relationship...they are both only children AND they are sisters! They are both very special girls!

Open adoption is such a wonderful arrangement for us! I am so proud that Amy will get to grow up knowing her sister and three real grandmoms! There is no doubt in my mind that this is what is best for Amy.
