Here is Amy greeting Mike as he got home from his business trip.

We don't mess around with pumpkins!

Amy and I met some friends at Molly's elementary school's fall festival. Amy surprised me by wanting on the jumparoo, and then not wanting off. She has been scared of them up until now.
Her favorite part was the petting zoo.

Last week I told Amy I was going to take her to the aquarium and she got very excited. She said "fssshhhh" all morning.

The errands that I had to run beforehand took longer than I expected and we didn't have time to make it to the aquarium. Not wanting to let Amy down, I took her to Petsmart instead, thinking I might be able to trick her.

Ummm...IT WORKED! To her, it was like an aquarium, and a zoo combined. She loved it! In addition to the fish, we saw birds and hamsters and cats and dogs being groomed, and dogs walking around the store, and guinea pigs...all sorts of entertainment. We enjoyed it so much we went back yesterday and brought home a beta fish.

I asked her several times what its name was and she kept saying "Elmo" (refering to the decoration I had inside the bowl). Then, 3 times in a row when I asked her she said, clear as day, "Uncle Betty". I'm sure she was trying to say something different, but "Uncle Betty" stuck.

Meet Uncle Betty...

Our season pass to the Georgia Aquarium expires tomorrow.
We took our last trip yesterday.
Amy said "WOW" at least 50 times.
So did I, even though we've been 8 times.

This is my favorite animal there, aside from the otters.

Amy really wants the little frog's ice cream cone!

On the hay ride.

Here...hold this.

I love that they have the same expression on their faces.

We stopped at Anderson Park in Tarpon Springs to see Leia and Mary again.

Unfortunately I was worn out from the long weekend and didn't take many pictures.
We drove down to Sarasota last weekend for my best friend, Kimberlee's wedding. Amy was the flowergirl and I was Matron of Honor.
