My mom and dad rented a house on Lake Burton in North Georgia for us to stay in together over Easter weekend. This was the view from the back porch:

The house rental included use of a 21 foot pontoon boat
which all of the kids, including Amy, enjoyed driving.

Matt, Terri Lynne, and her kids were honorary family members
for the weekend, and we loved having them with us.

All of the kids (and several adults) had fun dying eggs on Easter morning.

Thursday night we went to a new park over by the
Marietta Square and had fun with Grandma and Grandpa Shivley.

Thursday afternoon Martha met Amy and me at the zoo. Amy really likes birds lately, so I think that was her favorite part this trip...second to the train and carousel of course.

Amy and I drove down to Tampa last weekend to see 2 of our favorite people in the world...Kim and Mike. They took us to the beach and to the pool on Saturday and it made for a great vacation! Amy loved the sand and the birds and the pool, but not so much the ocean. She really liked helping Kim bury me.
