Yesterdays' football scores didn't turn out how we would have liked, but it
wasn't for a lack of cheerleading! I like this last shot...it looks like Mike is
balancing Amy by her foot with one finger. (Don't worry, thats not the case:).

Life has just changed!!!

We went hiking at Kennesaw Mountain on Saturday. Amy road on Mike's back the whole time, which made it easy for me to keep up with Mike for once. Amy blew raspberries for the first 45 minutes without stopping. Mike said she was his motor. Once she finished with the raspberries, she sang for the rest of the trip. We are pretty sure she likes the Great Outdoors!

Amy's new inflatable friend, Boobah. Someone told me that Boobah is the European version of the Teletubbies. I just like the way he dances.

Molly just turned 6, and she had a fantastic make-over birthday party to celebrate the occasion. She is single handedly bringing blue eye-shadow back in style!

We have been practicing crawling lately. She has started using her legs to
push forward a little bit. We are still at least a few weeks away, though...

...but not from a lack of effort!

Amy cut her 1st tooth on July 6th. We have been trying desperately to take a picture of it since we first saw the little white nub. However, Amy is modest about this lower left central incisor, and will not show it off for the camera. We have tried everything from making her smile by laughing, to holding her upside down, and even gently prying our fingers in her mouth to get a good shot. None of these methods have worked. So you'll just have to trust me...it's a cute little nub!

Amy went to her first volleyball tournament two weeks ago. The AVP was in town and Beth and Amber were playing. It was also Curtis' first tournament and he got some nice pictures of Amy. Thanks uncle Curt dog!

Guess what we did over the weekend...




It takes Amy about 2 or 3 minutes to get used to the water temperature...then it is fun, fun, fun! She likes to splash the water with her arms and her legs, and she likes to and chew on the chin strap of her hat.

We had her in her pool float for a few minutes, but she kept leaning forward to look at the water and even though I had both of my hands on her I was afraid she was going to put her face under water.

It has been said (further down this page) that Amy loves her sunglasses. I think it is more that she just doesn't mind them. If we put them on her, she will wear them all day. Her future is so bright....
